Overview

A folder is a place to store and manage related Processes, State Diagrams, Dashboards, and other objects.

Create folder

To create a folder:

  1. In the upper-left corner of the Workspace tab, click the Projects folder, select the needed project, and then select the needed stage.

  2. In the upper-left corner, click Create, and in the dropdown list, select Folder.
    Note: You can import a folder from your device by selecting From file.

  3. In the Create folder dialog, enter the folder name, and then click Ok.

The new folder has been created and automatically added to the selected project folder.

Manage folder

To see what additional actions you can perform on your folder, click the needed folder in the selected project folder.

Now, you can:

  • Share the folder with other users and groups:

    1. In the upper-right corner, click the share icon Share icon.

    2. In the Invite user or group field of the Sharing settings dialog that opens, enter the name or email of the needed user or group, press Enter on your keyboard, and then click Send invitation.
      Note: Users and user groups that you are going to provide access to the folder, must be registered in your company.

    3. After the selected user confirms the invitation by email, set the needed sharing permissions checkboxes (View, Task management, and Modify), and then click Save.
      Note: You can select the permissions for the user you want to share the folder with before clicking Send invitation. Setting the permissions for a user after the user has clicked the link in the email sets the new permissions. Every time permissions change, the user receives the corresponding notification by email.

  • Check the folder information:

    1. In the upper-right corner, click the info icon Info icon.
    2. View folder details by clicking the Info and History tabs.

  • Mark the folder as favorite by clicking the star icon Star%20icon.

  • Perform more actions by using the options icon Options icon_2 and clicking:

    • Download to download the folder
    • Move to… to move the folder to another folder
    • Make a copy to duplicate the folder
    • Rename to change the folder name
    • Delete to delete the folder

    Note: To perform an action on multiple objects, press Shift or Command on your keyboard, click the needed objects, and then click the needed action icon.
