Forms are used to create and manage actors in Simulator. A Form defines the structure and set of fields for all actors created based on the Form. There are system Forms available on the Forms page, on System forms tab, which you can use to create the most common actor types (event, filter, script, tag, stream, dashboard, etc.).
When creating an actor, you can combine many Forms, including the system ones, to define the actor fields, save this combination as a Form, and use it to create multiple actors.
Thus, you can create one or many actors based on a single Form, which can contain one set of fields or combine many field sets based on existing Forms.
Updating a Form results in all actors based on that Form updating correspondingly, maintaining consistency across the system. Forms streamline actor management by providing a standardized approach to data structure and field accessibility.
