Create account

Each account is paired with one or multiple currencies, which serve as the account balance and transactions measurement unit. When you add a new account to an actor, you can create a new account with a new currency or select an existing account/currency combination.

To create an account:

1. In the upper-right corner of the Accounts page, click Create.
   

2. In the Create new account dialog:

   1. Select the needed account name in the Account field or enter a new name, and click Create.
      

      Note: If you create a new name, in the Create new account name dialog, click Save.
      

   2. Select the needed currency in the Currency field or enter a new one, and click Create.
      

   To create a new currency, in the Create new currency dialog:

   1. Enter the currency name in the Name field.
   2. (Optional) Enter the currency symbol in the Currency symbol field.
   3. Select the needed currency type (Number, Percent, Currency, Date & Time, Seconds) in the Type field.
   4. Select the needed precision in the Precision field.
   5. Click Save.

   

   3. (Optional) Enter a tag in the Tags field.
   4. (Optional) Enter a trigger in the Triggers field.
   5. Click Save.

   

The new account has been created, and the success message appears at the top of the Accounts page.
